One hundred percent cacao

This block contains one hundred percent pure ceremonial cacao from India. In the fermented in cardamom version, the beans are fermented together with opened cardamom pods. The cardamom is then removed, leaving only its aroma and energetic quality.

The cacao comes from small scale farms in India where cacao grows among other trees and plants. This polycultural way of farming supports biodiversity and healthy soil.

The original version feels deep, earthy and grounding. The fermented in cardamom version adds a softer, heart opening and digestion friendly quality.

• Cut approximately 20 to 40 grams of cacao per cup.
• Heat 180 to 220 milliliters of water or (plant based) milk to around 70 degrees.
• Let the cacao melt gently and stir well, or use a milk frother for a creamy cacaochino.

One 500 gram block makes around twelve cups of ceremonial cacao, depending on your dosage.
