Ingredients & origin
Ingredients: 100% cacao mass from Peru.
No added sugar, milk powder, sweeteners or other additives.
The cacao comes from Peru, near the Andes, and naturally has a full, earthy and slightly bitter cacao flavour.
How do you prepare the cacao?
Cut or grate the amount of cacao you want from the block and let it gently melt into warm water, (plant-based) milk or tea.
- 20 grams is a nice amount for everyday use, for example as an alternative to coffee.
- 40 grams is a ceremonial dose for moments such as meditation, breathwork, yoga and journaling.
- Use around 180 to 220 ml of liquid per cup and do not let it boil.
- Stir well or use a milk frother for smooth cacao.
You can also brew your favourite tea first and melt the cacao into it for extra flavour or to make your cacao your own.
